Obiectives

• Introduce fundamentals of robotic surgery
• Understand patient selection and robotic safety
• Improve console skills & ergonomics
• Practice robotic suturing & camera control on simulation and VR

Outcome

Residents will complete core introductory robotic modules and VR tasks, gaining foundational robotic console skills.

Course Program

08:00 - 08:30: Registration & Orientation / Light Breakfast

08:30 - 09:30: Lecture: Basics of Robotic Surgery (Ergonomics, Docking, Instrumentation)

09:30 - 10:30: Safety Protocols, Docking Overview & Q&A

10:30 - 12:00: Simulation Lab - Camera control, clutch, precision movements

12:00 - 12:30: Break / Prayer

12:30 - 14:00: Console VR Session - Suturing modules & performance scoring and console training
